St Joseph Diesel was established in 1976 by Steve Webster and his wife Rose Webster. The company specialized in diesel fuel injection repair. With-in the first year of operation the company purchased its first test stand from the Robert Bosch Corporation seeing a growing need for repairs in this specialized field. Soon to follow St Joseph Diesel became factory authorized to aid in providing the highest level of customer service. St Joseph Diesel continued to grow by expanding into other specialized fields. They soon became a warehouse distributor for Roto-Master and began to remanufacture most lines of turbochargers. They also started servicing the needs of the tractor-pulling world by providing high performance fuel systems and turbo chargers to pullers across not only our country, but in several other countries. In 1992 Steve Webster purchased a John Deere repair facility from Smith Diesel in Iola KS. This new facility would be a branch of St. Joseph Diesel Inc. The stores name was Diesel & Turbo of Iola. The new store specialized in injector pump repair and turbo rebuilding. It also featured a drive in service bay. For several years St. Joseph Diesel Inc. grew hiring more and more diesel specialists. In 2001 seeing the need for drive in facilities the small shop grew to almost 10,000 sqft. With this addition the need for vehicle repair and high performance upgrades was filled. The new addition featured 6 work stalls with 3 technicians. The next addition came in mid 2006 with the addition of an 8,000 sqft building. The new building featured an engine assembly room, larger injection pump facility, and a performance injector room. This new building also featured 2 new Dynos; a Stuska engine dyno and a DynoCom in-floor chassis dyno. Also the ability to diagnosis and repair the latest in common-rail and high pressure fuel systems was taken to the next level with all the latest in diagnosis software. Today, St Joseph Diesel is in its second generation as a family business. They have grown into a full product line factory authorized fuel injection repair station as well as a distributor for all major brands of turbochargers, injectors, and fuel injection pumps. They offer many performance products for automotive, agriculture, and construction applications. Nothing is too small or too big. |
