All work guaranteed to be free from defects in material or workmanship under normal use and service.  Warranty is 1 year on Injection Pumps, (excluding electronics) Turbochargers & Nozzle Assemblies.  90 days on Pencils.  Heavy Duty Trucks larger than 1 ton is 6 months or 50,000 miles.

We warrant only complete overhauls to factory specs.  We shall make good only at our shop any parts: or parts & labor include that have failed due to defect in our parts or workmanship.  This warranty shall not apply to any product that has been repaired or altered in such a way as in our judgment to affect its reliability.  Warranty shall not apply when failure is due to substandard fuels, ingress of dirt or water.  Warranty shall not apply to damage caused by improper installation.  If unit does qualify for warranty we do not pay any labor of installation of removal of unit. If an exchange product should have a warranty problem in the first 6 months of the 1 year warranty, an exchange will be sent out when available.  After the 1^st 6 months the unit must be sent in for inspection and repair.

CORE POLICY All exchanges have a core value. Cores are due 30 days from date if invoice to receive full core credit.  On special orders some cores may be due before the 30 days.  Please don't wait for our salesman to pick up cores.  To insure proper credit, return core tag with unit.

INJECTION PUMP All exchange units must be complete and assembled as removed from the engine. We exchange only like for like units.  Additional billing will be made if different.  Any exchange unit that has been previously disassembled will receive ½ of core value.  Any exchange unit with damage resulting from normal use on the engine is accepted.  Exchange unit damaged from abuse or neglect in removal, storing or shipping will require extra billing.  Fire damage units do not qualify for an acceptable core.  Any missing parts require extra billing.  Rotary Pumps with frozen Head & Rotor will be billed additional ½ of new Head & Rotor price or repaired parts & labor only. 

TURBOCHARGER All exchange units must be like for like number and complete and assembled from engine.  A unit that has been previously disassembled will receive no core value. Any exchange unit damaged from abuse or neglect in removal, storing or shipping will require extra billing.  Fire units do not qualify for an acceptable core.

NOZZLES All nozzle exchanges are only like for like number.  Damaged holders will require extra billing.

HIGH PERFORMANCE

All high performance products of all types are not covered under normal warranty.

SPECIAL ORDERS

Large special orders require prepaid deposits.

PARTS RETURN All special order and non stock items are non returnable.  All normal items that may be returned must be accompanied by the original Invoice or a copy of it.  We accept return parts up to 6 months from date of Invoice, but impose a 20% restocking fee.  Exception is units, an immediate restocking fee.  Any units or parts that a customer leaves unclaimed for over 90 days will become property of St. Joseph Diesel Inc.
